*The summer internship and the weekly meeting stipends will be based on participation. More specifically, the exact amount will be proportional to the Scholar's level of attendance. If the Scholar is unable to attend any scheduled workshop, trip, or meeting, it is the Scholar's responsibility to notify the McNair Staff to request an exception to miss the scheduled event.

**Scholars are expected to apply to at least three graduate programs. In order to receive the graduate school application stipend, Scholars must demonstrate that they have applied to at least three programs (rejection letters will be accepted) or demonstrate that they have received an acceptance letter.
