The members of the Service Award Nomination Committee are asking you to submit the name of someone who exemplifies the selfless and caring nature of Linda Fink, a Concord graduate who died tragically while serving in the Peace Corps. While there is no monetary attachment to the award, it does serve to honor and bring recognition to someone who fosters the ideals of Linda Fink. A brief biography of Linda Fink, which provides inspiration for potential nominees, is on the back of this form. The nominee does not have to be a graduate of Concord.

If your candidate’s name is selected, we ask that you help us honor the nominee by ensuring his or her attendance at the Concord University Alumni Banquet on FRIDAY, MAY 18. Dinner will be provided for the recipient, his or her spouse or guest, and you and a guest. The recipient will be announced at the banquet, so please help us surprise him or her.

Criteria to consider would include: community service that benefits disadvantaged segments of our community and little or no recognition for service.
