Credit to Audit Status for Courses

Effective Date – March 9, 2004

On May 5, 2003, the Faculty Senate voted to amend the policy regarding credit to audit status for courses. The recommendation was that students would not be permitted to change their status in a course from credit to audit (or audit to credit) after the ninth instructional week of a semester. Prior to the ninth week the process will remain the same in that the status will be changed with the consent of the instructor. As with other policies, students could request an exception in unusual circumstances.

The President has endorsed the proposed change effective immediately. The end of the ninth instructional week for the Spring 2004 semester is March 24.
