Assistant Or Associate Professor Of Management

 

The Division of Business is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track Management faculty position in Business Administration.  The successful applicant will teach management courses beginning in spring semester 2007/fall semester 2007. Concord University provides a quality small college experience in the beautiful mountain setting of West Virginia.   The business program is currently in candidacy for AACSB accreditation.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES    Primary teaching responsibilities will include teaching four (4) classes in the area of Management/General Business at the undergraduate level, advising students and serving on both Division and University committees. Candidate will be expected to conduct scholarly research in accordance with AACSB standards and be involved with the regional business community.  Excellent communication, instructional and interpersonal skills are required. 

 

REQUIREMENTS         A doctorate with a major in management or closely related field is required, preferably from an AACSB accredited institution. A track record of publications is desired.  

                                   

SALARY:                        Commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
