Concord is accepting resumes in a number of academic fields – Biology, Math, English Composition, Literature, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Applications [Software and MIS], Foreign Language, Public Relations, Psychology, and Sociology. Applicants for these part-time positions will hold at least a Master’s degree in the appropriate academic field – experience and graduate work beyond the Master’s an important plus. Concord classes meet at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center or the Mine health & Safety Academy. Instructors selected will be offered the opportunity to attend Concord’s Adjunct Faculty Academy, and receive a Certificate of Completion, graduate credit, and access to Concord’s incentive-based pay plan for adjunct instructors.
