BECOME PART OF CONCORD UNIVERSITY’S COMMITMENT TO BRING EXPANDED OFFERINGS TO BECKLEY AND BEYOND.
Concord is accepting resumes in a number of academic fields – Biology, Physical Science, Geology, Math, English Composition and Literature, Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Computer Applications [Software and MIS], Foreign Language, Communication and Fine Arts, and Teacher Education.
Applicants for these part-time positions will hold at least a Master’s degree in the appropriate academic field – experience, additional graduate work, and the appropriate degree beyond the Master’s [Ph. D, Ed. D., ABD] an important plus. In Teacher Education, for example, NCATE accreditation makes the Ed. D. a must. Concord classes meet at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center or the Mine Health & Safety Academy on a schedule convenient to those required to travel some distance from Beckley.
Instructors selected will be offered the opportunity to attend Concord’s Adjunct Faculty Academy and receive a Certificate of Completion, appropriate graduate credit, and access to Concord’s improved pay plan for adjunct instructors.
Send resumes to the attention of Dr. William A. O’Brien, Concord University, Human Resources Office, P. O. Box 1000, Athens, WV 24712.
