ATHENS, WV April 2, 2001
Concord College will host an alumni reunion at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2001, the same day as the College’s 126th spring commencement, which will be held at 10:00 a.m.
The classes of 1950-52, 1960-62, 1970-72, 1975-77, 1980-82 and 1990-92, will hold reunions at an annual banquet scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the Ballroom of the College Center. A social will be held at 5:00 p.m. in the College Center Television Lounge on the second floor.
The Concord College Alumni Association Awards Committee is currently accepting nominations for the following awards: The Alumnus of the Year (someone who has made outstanding contributions to the Alumni Association and College); The Golden Alumnus (an alumnus who has contributed greatly to the Alumni Association and/or College for 25 years or more); and the Outstanding Alumnus (an alumnus who has made great strides in his/her profession and/or community). The awards will be given at the banquet. Friends of the nominees or other alumni may submit nominations.
