Art Show at Concord to Focus on Gender Issues, Show Opens Monday, September 29

Athens, W. Va. - Dawn Dickens will be expressing her views on gender issues with her “Lotion and Grease” art show.  The show opens Monday, September 29 and runs through Friday, October 24. 

 

A reception will be held for Ms. Dickens, Monday, September 29, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the Arthur Butcher Gallery, Alexander Fine Arts Center.  The public is invited.

 

Ms. Dickens received a BFA from Georgia Southern University and currently teaches at Young Harris College in Georgia. 

 

The art show is free to the public.  Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  For more information contact Steve Glazer at 1-304-384-5206.
