Athens,
W.Va. –Concord University’s Chapter of Alpha Psi Omega will present Alice in
Wonderland. The performances are Friday, March 23
at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m.
Alice
in Wonderland is a story
about a little girl who slides down a rabbit hole while following a peculiar
White Rabbit. Alice is a fearless
and inquisitive child who discovers strange characters in interesting places,
and she always remembers to be polite and caring.
The
play will be a shortened version of the original and will allow audience
participation. The characters portrayed will be: the Queen played by Natale
Clark from Clarksburg, the Mad Hatter played by Holly Glick from Renick, the
White Rabbit played by Larry Phares from Linn, Sara played by Holly Mullens from Welch, Alice played by Liz
Rhule from Charleston, the Dodo Bird played by Kim Bennett from Hinton, and the
Caterpillar played by Matt Browning from Gary.
This
story is a classic literary tale that has been around for over a hundred
years. Children of all ages will
enjoy this play, as well as the child at heart.

Concord students, faculty and staff will not be admitted for free as the event is a fundraiser for Alpha Psi Omega. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
