Athens, W.Va. – Four McNair Scholars represented
Concord University and Bluefield State College at the 2007 University of
Maryland National Undergraduate Research Conference in March.

According to Dr. Rod Klein, director of the McNair Scholars program at Concord University, “A national conference such as this offers Scholars an invaluable opportunity to experience life and academia outside of West Virginia.” Presenters share their research with faculty and fellow undergraduates from throughout the county. Scholars also attend workshops related to graduate education, visit area attractions, and participate in a graduate school fair.”
