“The West Virginia BB&T Foundation is
honored to contribute to such a worthwhile cause and wonderful
institution. Concord University and the Concord University Foundation are
an integral part of our community and our state. BB&T is proud to be a
part of some of the exciting things going on at Concord,” noted Mr. Ratliff.
Mr. Barnette stated that, “We appreciate the
strong and continuing support of Branch Banking and Trust to the Concord
University Foundation. While a large national bank they remain a strong
supporter of their local communities.”
Concord University President, Dr. Jerry Beasley, said that, “We appreciate the efforts of BB& T in their support of our students, facilities, and programs of study. As demonstrated at the Donor Appreciation Banquet, students do indeed recognize that businesses in our community support their endeavors, and are grateful to them for their support.”
