CU to Host Spring “Grad Fair,” Monday, February 18
Athens, W.Va. – The Office of the Registrar at Concord University will be hosting a spring “Grad Fair,” Monday, February 18, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
“We bring together all the offices at Concord that candidates for commencement must visit prior to graduation,” stated Ms. Carolyn Cox, registrar for the University. “Nearly 60 percent of those slated to graduate typically attend, and they have completed surveys indicating their approval of the event.”
“This year we have six graduate schools—the most ever in attendance—joining us, including the following: Concord University, Hollins University, Marshall University, Radford University, West Virginia University, and West Virginia Wesleyan” she continued. “Many of our students pursue graduate work, and this provides a convenient way for the students to check out their options for graduate study.”
Approximately 250 students will be candidates for graduation for this spring and summer.
