Program Assistant, Concord University Research and Development Corporation

The Concord University Upward Bound program assistant is a federally funded, full time, benefits eligible, entry level position with a starting salary of $22,436, contingent upon funding. The assistant is responsible for office management and clerical duties including scheduling; reviewing and maintaining timecards, confidential student files, and personnel records; payroll; financial management support, and budget reconciliation; updating web pages; entry, tracking and collection of data; arranging travel; and greeting and assisting students, parents and visitors.

Successful candidates will hold an associate’s degree in business, computer technology, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Possess knowledge of college systems, postsecondary institutions, fiscal management including basic accounting, databases, word processing, web page design and digital editing. Interpersonal communication skills, organization, and the desire to work with diverse populations are a must.

Program Manager

The Concord University Research and Development Corporation is seeking an individual to manage day-to-day operations of the EDPD and Masters of Arts in Health Promotion graduate program, including budgetary matters, record control, and work assignments. The position provides complex secretarial support and coordinates office activities. Successful applicant holds a Bachelor in accounting or related field, and at least two years of progressively responsible and related experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, keen ability to multitask and problem solve, and experience in an academic setting is ideal.

This is a partially externally funded full-time position and is contingent on available funding.
