The WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities works in collaboration with DHHR to provide Specialized Family Care homes for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  We have been working in conjunction with DHHR since 1981.  This is a career in which you know you make a difference in the lives of those you serve. A bachelor’s degree in human services, or a related field, and 5 – 7 years of experience working with I/DD populations, general knowledge of I/DD issues, and experience and skill in working as an interagency team member in planning community placement are required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. A valid driver’s license is required. Must have provisional or full licensure as a Social Worker or certified Social Worker by the West Virginia Board of Social Work Examiners.
