Dr. Swiger joined the Business Faculty at Concord University in 2017. He teaches in the area of finance and consults in the area of forensic economics, human capital and valuation.
Prior to coming to Concord, he was Professor of Finance and Department Chair at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. He was also on the business faculty at UNC-Charlotte and University of Texas at San Antonio. He has also been a business and economic consultant for the past 25 years, worked as a bank credit analyst and held the position of president of an equipment leasing company. He lives with his wife, Martha, on a farm in Pipestem. Between them, they have five grown children.
