Bio

Mohan P Pokharel obtained his Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Master’s from Columbia University, and Bachelor of Law from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Prior to joining Concord University he taught at the University of Washington Bothell and Virginia Tech. At the University of Washington Bothell, he primarily taught Capstone courses “Business Policy and Strategic Management” and “Entrepreneurial Management” as well as an introductory course “Management of Organizations/Team Skills.” At Virginia Tech, he taught Capstone “Business Policy and Strategic Management” courses and “Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurial Management.” His dissertation Gauging Learning in Public Sector Organizations: A Case Study of Virginia’s Penetration Rate Enhancement Program has been published as a monograph by Verlag, VDM Publishing Inc., Germany. His scholarly work in organization theories and strategic management are published and/or are under review in the refereed Journals, such as International Journal of Organizational theories and Behavior, Journal of Workplace Learning, Management Learning, and Non-linear Dynamics, Psychology, and Life Science Journal.
