Many articles listed on the "Essential Items" and "Optional Items" lists could/should be shared between roommates. Residence hall rooms are not spacious enough to allow each occupant to bring all items listed in the above section. For this reason, the Office of Housing and Residence Life will supply each incoming student with the home address and telephone number (when available) of his/her new roommate. Providing roommate information and determining in advance what each roommate will contribute allows for optimum room organization.
