Concord Will Begin Search for Head Football Coach

Athens, W.Va. - Concord College announced today that the football contract of Head Coach Ollie Pottmeyer will not be renewed.

Coach Pottmeyer recently completed his tenth season as a member of the Mountain Lion football staff including the past four seasons as the head coach.

Director of Athletics, Steve Lee stated: “I really appreciated the work and the effort that Coach Pottmeyer has put into the program during his tenure as a coach at Concord College. He is a true gentleman and has represented Concord College loyally throughout his tenure.”

The search for a new head football coach will begin immediately.
