Concord Welcomes Both Returning and New Faculty, Staff
Athens, W. Va. – Concord College hosted an orientation for new faculty Friday, August 15, 2003. “We live in interesting times,” suggested Dr. Dean Turner, vice president and academic dean, as he welcomed both returning and new faculty and staff.
Dr. April Puzzuoli reported on the College’s assessment process noting that Concord came out at or near the top in most categories.
Concord President Jerry Beasley welcomed guests and noted that the “TRIO” programs were refunded. (TRIO programs are federally funded programs that support student learning and include Student Support Services, McNair and Upward Bound.)
