Concord Theatre Presents “Grease,” April 22-24
Athens, W.Va. - The Concord College Theatre Department will perform the hit musical “Grease” April 22-24 at 8 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts Center Main Auditorium at Concord College.
Dr. Thomas Gambill, director of the Concord College Theatre, said, “I think that this musical is enormous fun. That’s the entire focus of the project. While “Cabaret” [last year’s musical performance] was intense and hopefully moving, ”Grease” is just an excuse to sit back and relax for two hours.”
The “Grease” cast is comprised entirely of Concord College students and has been a true task to tackle since the beginning of the spring semester. Since auditions in February, the cast and crew have been hard at work rehearsing and constructing the elaborate set envisioned by Dr. Gambill.
Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $2 for non-Concord students.
