Concord University Announces Graduate Courses for Certified Teachers
Athens, W. Va. – Vice President and Academic Dean, Dr. Dean W. Turner, announces registration dates for fall 2005 graduate courses for certified teachers at Concord University.
Registration begins immediately and continues through the first class meeting, which is noted on the University’s web site.
Cost per credit hour is $234 for in-state students and $410 for out-of-state students. A special reduced “clinical fee” of $195 per credit hour is available for any teacher currently employed in Bland, Tazewell, or Giles County in Virginia and in Mercer, McDowell, Wyoming, Fayette, Raleigh, Monroe, Summers and Greenbrier counties in W.Va. In addition, lab and technology fees may apply. Payment is due the first day of class.
First time enrollees should contact the Division of Education prior to the registration deadline, which is the first day of class.
A list of courses and additional information is available on the University’s web site, www.concord.edu. Click on “Current Students” then “Schedule.” Master’s classes are noted at the end of the undergraduate listing.
All courses will be offered as a combination of class meetings and WebCT (the Internet). Classes have various start dates, so please check the schedule on the Internet for accurate information.
