Popular Blues Musician Reggie Wayne Morris to Perform at Concord University September 7
Athens, W.Va. - On Wednesday, September 7, at 9 p.m. in the Concord University Student Center, popular blues musician Reggie Wayne Morris will perform. The event will be held on the ground floor of the Student Center in the “Subway” area.
Morris was raised on gospel and blues by his grandparents. While his music reflects the moods and grooves of yesterday, over the years he has developed an upbeat, rockin' style. He has been a featured performer at the Baltimore Blues Festival for several years and is a favorite on the Mid-Atlantic club circuit. “Chesapeake Entertainment” says of Reggie, "When Reggie Wayne Morris and Company plugs in, it turns into a volcano."
The show is free to the public, and is being sponsored by Concord University’s Student Activities Committee. For more information, contact the Student Center Office at 1-800-344-6679, ext. 5311 or 1-304-384-5311.
