Meet the Candidates at CU, Monday, October 30
Athens, W.Va. – A “Legislative Candidate’s Forum” will be held on Monday, October 30, at Concord University from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
The Forum is hosted by Judge John Frazier, adjunct professor at Concord University, and his State and Local Government class.
Each candidate will make an opening statement, which will not exceed three minutes. Following the opening statement, those in the audience may ask questions directed to a candidate and each candidate will have one minute to respond. Finally, each candidate will make a closing statement not to exceed three minutes.
Candidates who have confirmed their attendance include: Sen. Jessie Guills, R-District 10, Lewisburg; Del. Eustace Frederick, D-District 24, Bluefield; Del. Marshall Long, M.D., D-District 25, Princeton; Del. Thomas Mike Porter, R-District 25, Princeton; Fred Parker, Greenville; Doug Quesinberry, Bramwell; and Paige Flanigan, Princeton. Other candidates have been invited.
The public and media are invited, and there will be a reception immediately following the forum.
