CU Students, Faculty, Staff Support Salvation Army Angel Program
Athens, W.Va. – The students, faculty and staff of Concord University supported the Salvation Army Christmas Angel program for the 18th consecutive year.
Director of Student Union Activities II, Mr. Bill Skeat, and Special Events Assistant & Director of Student Union Activities II, Ms. Lynnis Hill, organized the collection of toys and clothes to benefit 100 children in the area who are served by the Princeton Salvation Army.
“At least one couple gave up their weekend date for several weeks in order to pay for a bicycle for a child,” noted Mr. Skeat. “In addition, six boxes of assorted food items were donated. I would like to thank our students, faculty and staff for supporting this program throughout the years, and I look forward to working with the Salvation Army in the future.”
