Concord University is experiencing a power outage and will be closed Friday, Dec. 11, 2009.

Power on campus is limited at this time and is being directed to the residence halls. American Electric Power and Concord University maintenance staff are working cooperatively to restore full service to campus as quickly as possible.

Residence hall staff are working with Concord's office of public safety to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all students living in the University's residence halls.

Aramark, the campus food provider, is functional and is providing meal service to students and staff on campus.
