Adult Learners Focus of Open House at Concord University
Concord University is hosting an Adult Learner Open House on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Jerry L. Beasley Student Center Ballroom. This exciting opportunity will offer information on how adults can earn or complete a degree at Concord.
Concord’s Regents Bachelor of Arts (RBA) program is sponsoring the open house. The RBA, along with other adult programming at Concord, offers flexibility and attention to the needs of the adult learner with family and work obligations. Students enrolled in the RBA program receive college credit for work experience, professional certifications and military training.
Open house guests will learn about the RBA program and other areas of study at Concord. They will receive information about financial aid and registration, tour the campus and meet university personnel. For more information contact Dr. George Towers, RBA coordinator and interim associate dean, at 304-384-5220 or email@example.com.
Concord University is part of the RBA Today initiative sponsored by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission (HEPC.) This statewide collaborative effort among West Virginia’s colleges and universities is dedicated to helping more adults return to college and earn a degree.
