Concord University Theatre Presenting 'Kennedy's Children'
ATHENS – Concord University Theatre will present the play “Kennedy’s Children” in the H. C. Paul Theatre of the University’s Alexander Fine Arts Center Wednesday, April 20 through Saturday, April 23, 2011. Performances begin at 7 p.m. each evening.
“Kennedy’s Children” was written by Robert Patrick. The play chronicles five strangers in a New York City bar on Valentine’s Day in 1974. A nurse who served in Vietnam, a woman who idolizes Marilyn Monroe, a radical activist, an off-Broadway actor and a schoolteacher who is a John F. Kennedy fanatic recount the events of their lives during the 1960s.
Tickets for “Kennedy’s Children” can be reserved through the Concord University Box Office at www.ConcordUEvents.com and by calling (304) 384-5101 or emailing BoxOffice@concord.edu. Admission is free for Concord faculty, staff and students. Tickets are $5 for other adults. The Box Office will open at 6 p.m. for ticket sales prior to each performance.
