CONCORD UNIVERSITY’S FINE ARTS DIVISION
PRESENTING STEPHEN SONDHEIM’S ‘PUTTING IT TOGETHER’
ATHENS, W.Va. - Concord University’s Fine Arts Division will present the Tony Award nominated musical “Putting It Together” Wednesday, April 25 through Saturday, April 28 at 8 p.m. in the H.C. Paul Theatre. The theatre is located in the Alexander Fine Arts Building on Concord’s campus in Athens, W.Va. at 1000 Vermillion Street.
“Putting It Together” is a musical revue showcasing the songs of Stephen Sondheim who is a famed American composer and lyricist. The show includes songs from various Sondheim plays such as “Sweeney Todd,” “The Frogs,” “Sunday in the Park with George” and “Dick Tracy.”
Concord’s production of the show will be under the direction of Dr. Thomas Gambill, theatre director, and Dr. Jimmy Shepherd, director of choral and vocal music. The cast includes Aaron Chamberlin, Chandra Sheppard, Brent Hobbs, Carrie Honaker, Jessica Simmons, Jonathan Melendez and Jessica Godby.
Admission is free to Concord faculty, staff and students with a valid Concord identification card. All other tickets are $5. Seating is limited to 90 seats nightly.
