FIRST PHYS ED 5K RUN/WALK
BENEFITTING CU HUMAN PERFORMANCE MAJORS
ATHENS, W.Va. - A race to benefit Concord University’s human performance majors is set for Monday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. The First Phys Ed 5K Run/Walk will begin and end on the CU track at Callaghan Stadium and be run through the streets of Athens.
Entry fees and any other donations from the race will provide opportunities for students to attend national and state conventions and participate in specialized forms of training that will help and enhance their overall educational experience in human performance.
Medals will be awarded to the top three males and females. The top three in each age division will receive a ribbon. All walkers will receive a participation ribbon.
Registration fees for Concord University students, faculty and alumni are $8 for early registration and $10 on the day of the race. All other participants are $12, early registration and $15, the day of the race. The first 50 individuals to register will receive a T-shirt.
Early registration ends on Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. Registration and packet pick up will begin at 5 p.m. on race day in the Carter Center lobby.
