International Students Club at Concord University Holding Annual Banquet

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University International Students Club will host their annual banquet in the Ballroom of the Jerry and Jean Beasley Student Center on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 6 p.m.

Club members will showcase their artistry through song, dance, fashion, and even cuisine. The International Club’s members come from 33 different countries and collaborate each year to showcase the diversity they bring to the campus and community.

Nancy Ellison, director of multicultural affairs stated, “The International Banquet is the most multicultural event held at Concord University.   Past performances have included music and dance from around the world, a magic show, comedy routines, and a wonderful fashion show.”

This year’s theme will take attendees on a “Cruise around the World.” To be a passenger on this cruise, stop by the International Center located on the ground floor of the Student Center in Room 107 to purchase a ticket.  For additional information call 304-384-6086.
