NCAA Division II Game To Be Broadcast On WVVA Television

ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University Mountain Lion football fans will be able to watch the NCAA Division II Super Region One Championship Playoff game on WVVA, Channel 6.

WVVA is re-broadcasting the game from the Pennsylvania SPORTSfever Network.

The game will be broadcast statewide in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania in addition to the WVVA coverage area.  SPORTSfever Television Network outlets reach an estimated 14 million households and are available to a nationwide audience.  The viewership for this telecast is estimated to be around 108,000.

“I’m delighted that we were able to help make this broadcast happen. It’s exciting to know that folks in the two Virginias will be able to watch the Mountain Lions as they look to advance in the NCAA Division II playoffs,” says WVVA Vice President and General Manager Frank Brady.

The Concord University Mountain Lions take on the Bloomsburg Huskies on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Callaghan Stadium in Athens beginning at noon. Kickoff is set for 12:06 p.m.

The undefeated Mountain Lions have a 12-0 record going into the game against the 11-1 Huskies.
