SPOOKTACULAR BRINGS HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES

 TO CONCORD UNIVERSITY

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Music Department will host the third annual Spooktacular on Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts Center’s Main Auditorium. Spooktacular is a Halloween event brought to “The Campus Beautiful” by the music department to raise funds for their program. Concord University’s Halloween event is a Spooktacular concert, costume contest, and haunted hall.

Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes as there will be a costume contest for adults as well as children. After the contests if the guests think that they are brave enough, they have an opportunity to walk through the haunted halls of the Alexander Fine Arts Center. To set the spooky mood, Concord University’s Concert Band, ConChords, music faculty, and music students will present a concert.

Admission for the event is $5. One ticket gains you access to the haunted hall, concert, and other festivities that will be happening throughout the evening.  To reserve tickets in advance, go to Concord’s Box Office in the Alexander Fine Arts Center which is located to the left of the Main Auditorium.  To reserve tickets in advance by phone or for more information, contact the Box Office at 304-384-5101.   Tickets can also be purchased at the Box Office on the night of the event.
