EARLY ADVISING FOR SPRING 2017 SEMESTER

 UNDERWAY AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY

 

Early Registration for Spring 2017 Semester Begins Oct. 31

 

ATHENS, W.Va. – Early advising is underway at Concord University for the Spring 2017 semester and will continue through Nov. 4.  Advisees (returning students) need to check with their academic advisers regarding a mutually agreed upon time for advising.  Advisers will provide advisees with a 6 digit advising PIN for web registration.

Transfer students, re-admitted students, first-time freshmen, and non-degree seeking students who have been admitted for the Spring 2017 semester should contact Andrea Tabor at tabora@concord.edu or 304-384-6031 to schedule an advising appointment. Advising for these students is being conducted the week of Nov. 14– Nov. 18 and during the week of Jan. 2 – Jan. 6.

Early registration for the Spring 2017 semester at Concord University begins on Oct. 31 and will continue until Nov. 9. (Please see a more detailed schedule below.) Students will have access to web registration until Jan. 5. Classes begin on Monday, Jan. 9. 

Returning students can register for courses on the internet under their MyCU account beginning on the following dates:

 

            Veterans, Honor Students and Students with Disabilities may register on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1

            Seniors (90 + earned hours) Oct. 31 and Nov. 1

            Juniors (60 + earned hours) Nov. 2 and Nov. 3

            Sophomores (30 + earned hours) Nov. 4 and Nov. 7

            Freshmen (less than 30 earned hours) Nov. 8 and Nov. 9

 

Classes are available on the Athens campus and in Beckley at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center. On-line courses are also offered. Both undergraduate and graduate courses are available.

Payment of fees for the spring semester is due Jan. 9, 2017. The late registration fee begins at 8 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2017. The last day of payment for spring is Friday, Jan. 27, 2017.
