CONCORD UNIVERSITY OFFERING FREE EDUCATION TO SOCIAL WORKERS

ATHENS, W.Va.  – The Concord University Department of Social Work will be offering a new program for individuals who hold a MSW and are seeking continuing education hours. The Concord University Policy Integration Development (CUPID) program is funded by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) in order to heighten the policy skill set of all undergraduate and graduate level social work students, regardless of specialization.

The CUPID program intends to carry out this important cause through training social work professionals who provide field education supervision through free online continuing education and academic course delivery. Beginning in mid-November, the program will continue through April 2017.

The program is free to eligible program participants. To be eligible for the program the participant must have an MSW from a CSWE accredited program and a minimum of two years of social work practice experience.

To apply for the course, please complete the application at the following link: http://concord.edu/cupid  Spaces are limited.  The deadline for applications is Nov. 10, 2016.
