PULITZER PRIZE WINNER LEONARD PITTS JR.

 SPEAKING AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY

 

 

ATHENS, W.Va. – Leonard Pitts, Jr., American commentator, journalist and author, will speak at Concord University on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

A nationally syndicated columnist, Pitts received the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 2004.

His presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in the Main Auditorium of the Fine Arts Center on Concord’s Athens campus. There is no admission charge for the event. The Concord campus community and the general public are invited to attend.

Pitts’ visit to Concord is being hosted by the Concord University Upward Bound Program.
