Sarah Lively Turner '98

Director of Alumni & Donor Relations

Graduation is not the end of Concord’s commitment to you. Sarah Turner works to keep alumni connected to their alma mater and to be a resource to them long after they leave campus. From emails and social media to our CU After Hours events, Sarah’s goal is to keep as many alums as possible connected to the university. Strong connections like these will make possible future mentoring programs that will connect alums to current students. Sarah, an alum that comes from a family of Concordians, has a strong loyalty to this university, like many of our graduates. Several of our scholarships are made possible through alumni financial support. When you choose Concord University, you become part of a legacy and the Alumni office will make sure you stay connected.

Kelsey Walls '18

Oceana, WV

Kelsey loved that Concord was not only a beautiful campus but that it also had a hometown atmosphere. By choosing Concord University it allowed her to become a third generation Mountain Lion in her family. Her service to others in the community expanded thanks to the opportunities that were offered to her through the Bonner Scholars Program and the Appalachian Leadership and Education Foundation Program. Kelsey graduated without any student debt earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and plans to continue her education by pursuing an MBA. It Starts With You.

Hannah Stauffer

Oakvale, West Virginia

Hannah is a first generation Mountain Lion and majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. Hannah transferred to Concord during her freshman year, throughout her previous experience at another university she never truly felt at home. She found her way to Concord University and found the sense of community she was looking for. Specifically, Hannah has loved the class sizes at Concord and the fact that no matter where you go or who you talk to, you will see a smile. The welcoming and genuine community found at Concord has made Hannah’s experience an enjoyable atmosphere to learn and grow in.
