As one of the fastest growing areas in the field of Communication, public relations offers a wide variety of careers to choose from and areas to work in. Our recent graduates are working across the media industries from non-profit and human relations organizations to corporate and governmental sectors. Our students have opportunities to build a strong portfolio of work which gives them a substantial edge in increasingly competitive job markets upon graduation. Furthermore, participating in the public relations workshop gives students the chance to practice skills learned in the classroom by allowing them to work with clients within the university and community to promote events through writing materials, creating posters, working events, and performing other promotional tasks.
