Orientation

To register for orientation you must first submit your "Reply to Offer of Admission" form and your $50 enrollment deposit.  Once your deposit is received you can log into your application portal to sign up for an orientation session.  Spring orientation will be held on January 7, 2022 (If there is a weather issue we will move this event to a virtual session.)   We will hold a virtual orientation on January 5, 2022 for those that can not attend the in person session.  Sign up for the virtual session can also be done after an enrollment deposit is submitted.

To attend orientation we ask that you limit guests to two additional people, wear a mask and maintain  proper social distance.  We also ask that anyone feeling ill stay home; we will work directly with you to get you set.

To help you prepare, please log into your MyConcordU portal prior to your registered event for updated materials.

At orientation you will get the chance to:
  • Get a picture taken for your student ID
  • Review and edit your schedule
  • Meet with offices like Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounts
  • Register your car(s) to park on campus (bring your license number)
  • Meet lots of faculty and staff
  • Tour campus
If you have questions or need assistance call 304-384-6031 or email orientation@concord.edu.

A message from the president:

Congratulations on taking the next step towards a successful future. Being admitted to Concord University is an achievement, and you should be proud of the hard work that led you to this moment. Every admitted student brings something new to Concord, a unique perspective cultivated by your diverse backgrounds. The faculty and staff are looking forward to getting to know each of you.

I encourage you to take advantage of every opportunity available to you during your time on "The Campus Beautiful." Dedicate your efforts to finishing your degree, and maybe a minor or two. Get involved in student activities and groups; meet new people. Challenge yourself, and become the person you want to be. This is your time, and I hope you make the most of it.
