Biography

Safoora Javadi is an Assistant Professor of Economics who recently joined Concord University in 2020. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her research interests are demographic economics and health economics, with a focus in family matters. 

Before she moved to the United States, she obtained her Bachelors and Masters degrees and had been working in the Statistical Center of Iran, National Account Bureau for 4 years.   

She has taught various Economics and Business Administration courses as a Visiting Assistant Professor at College of William and Mary, VA, as a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, WI, and as an adjunct faculty at Madison Area Technical College, WI.
