Chapel Group Reorganizes
Athens, W. Va. - Revitalizing efforts to create a multi-purpose chapel on the grounds of Concord College was the primary goal addressed by the Concord College Interfaith Chapel Foundation, Inc., at its re-organizational meeting on Thursday (Nov. 20) in Athens.
Elected president of the foundation for the next year was Tom Bone III, a Concord alumnus and former Director of Public Information. An emeritus president of the college, Joseph F. Marsh, was elected vice president. Other officers elected on Thursday were Elaine Hooper, secretary, and Jean Beasley, treasurer. The next meeting of the foundation was set for 10 a.m. Dec. 10 at the Concord Room in Marsh Hall (the Administration Building) on the Concord campus in Athens.
