The Concord University logo suite serves as a symbol of our institution and the most visible representation of who we are. The importance of upholding the design in all of our communications is paramount. All official logos are available by request. Please do not use the low resolution examples contained below for any printed publication. The Office of Advancement is available to answer any questions about logo usage and requirements. The “Bell Tower” version of the Concord University Institutional logo remains a consistent identifying mark. The logo is the stylized “Bell Tower” with the words Concord University either centered beneath or beside the “Bell Tower”. The stylized “Bell tower” shouldn’t be used as a separate element, without the words “CONCORD UNIVERSITY”. The “Bell Tower” logo may be used on official university materials and certain merchandise items. Use is subject to approval by the Office of Advancement.
This logo has become the default for our university communications. Whenever creating new documents, or updating older pieces, the Concord U logo should be implemented. The official ink color for the Concord U logo is PMS 202 C. This should be used whenever possible. In instances where budgetary constraints are a factor the one-color logo version may print in 100% Black. There is also a one-color white logo that may be used when the project dictates that you need to place the logo on a dark background. If you are using the logo in a publication that does not use the Concord Burgundy or Black ink, the logo should be printed in the darkest ink used. Approval by the Office of Advancement of this type of usage (logo color not black or Concord burgundy) will be relatively rare.
With rare exceptions, the formal university seal is reserved for ceremonies, watermarks for official documents, diplomas, and building plaques. Using the university seal in publications must have approval from the Office of Advancement.
The Athletics logos shown below should be used only for Athletics purposes and sports related publications.
