The Beryle Crockett Santon Scholarship fund was established in memory of Dr. Beryle C. Santon to honor her dedication and commitment to teacher education.  A portion of the scholarship fund, held at the Concord University Foundation, is used to assist qualified students with the cost of their required Praxis exams.

Before you apply, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

  • You have been admitted to the Concord University Teacher Education Program.
  • You have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
  • You must be a West Virginia resident.
  • The Praxis exam you are requesting assistance with is required as part of your degree.

This scholarship only covers the cost of your PRAXIS exams at this time.

Please apply only for exams you expect to schedule and take within the next three to four months.

If you pay for any exams after June 30 (of any year) after being approved earlier in the year, you will need to resubmit an application to be reimbursed for those exams.
