Biography
Dr. April Holbrook received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Concord University in Sociology, and her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University. During graduate school, she studied with a focus in Criminology and statistical methods, and she minored in Social Psychology. She worked for two years as a research assistant, gained two years of teaching experience, and worked for two years as the supervisor of Supplemental Instruction at Bowling Green State University. She went on the work in the Institutional Research office at Owens Community College, and then she worked for The Citadel in the Student Success Center. She is currently a Program Specialist in the Center for Academic & Career Development. She enjoys working students to help them reach their full potential. She spends her free time with her husband and two hounds.
