Anthony Underwood Fills Admissions Counselor Position at Concord College

Athens, W.Va. - Anthony Underwood of Rock, W.Va., has been named Admissions Counselor at Concord College in Athens, W.Va., according to President Jerry Beasley.

Underwood holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (grades 5-12) from West Virginia University. He has served as a substitute teacher in Mercer County and as a teacher/mentor in the Energy Express Program, Mercer County Office of the West Virginia University Extension Service. Underwood also served as a supervisor with the Department of Public Works in the Governor’s Summer Youth Program for the city of Princeton.

According to Beasley, "Anthony has a great deal of practical, professional work experience interacting with parents and college-bound students. Anthony recommends financial aid and scholarship options to students that help offset some of the costs associated with higher education. Moreover, our staff is very impressed with Anthony’s enthusiasm for Concord and the programs we offer."
