Percussion Group to Perform at Concord in April

Athens, W.Va. - The ETHOS Percussion Group will be performing at Concord College on April 5, 2001. The performance will be held in the Main Auditorium of the Alexander Fine Arts Center at 8:00 p.m.

Hailed by the New York Times for its “expert togetherness, sensitivity, and zest…,” the ETHOS Percussion Group celebrates over a decade of extraordinary performances. From evocative Guatemalan marimba music to the high energy of Japanese taiko drumming…from contemporary masterworks by composers like John Cage and Lou Harrison’s Bing! Bang! Boom!, the ensemble’s popular educational program for children, ETHOS is revolutionizing the world of percussion.

Ticket prices will be $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors, and $2.00 for non-Concord students. No reservations are required. Tickets can be purchased the night of the concert. For further information, call 1-304-384-5101.
