Concord Music Faculty to Present Two Recitals

Athens, W.Va. - The Concord University music faculty will present a recital of American music on Sunday, January 23 at 2 p.m. at Tamarack in Beckley, and again at Concord University on Tuesday, February 1 at 4 p.m. The recital at Concord will be held in the Alexander Fine Arts Center (signage will direct guests to the recital location inside the building).

The program will include works by Maslanka, Rzewski, Copland, Foster, Plog, Bernstein, Still, Mainland, Holland and Emmett. Featured instruments are marimba, piano, voice, flute, banjo, trumpet, guitar, trombone, and clarinet.
