Concord University Alum Speaking On Graduate Research For Spring Colloquium Series
CONCORD UNIVERSITY ALUM SPEAKING ON GRADUATE RESEARCH
FOR SPRING COLLOQUIUM SERIES
ATHENS, W.Va. – Katlyn Amos, a Concord University alumna and current graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, will conduct a seminar titled “Bugs, Stats, and GIS: A Graduate Experience” at Concord on Thursday, March 21. The presentation is part of the Division of Natural Sciences Spring 2013 Colloquium Series.
Amos will divide her talk into three parts. These include a brief summary of her current research, a discussion about graduate school and tips on how to prepare for graduate school while at Concord.
The seminar will begin at 5 p.m. in Room 400 of the Science Building. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.
