CONCORD UNIVERSITY HOSTING MATHEMATICS FIELD DAY,

SCIENCE OPEN HOUSE

ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University will host the annual Region I Mathematics Field Day on the Athens campus on Saturday, March 28, 2015. The Region I Field Day competition will include students in grades 4-12 from Mercer, Raleigh, Summers, Monroe, Wyoming and McDowell counties.

Concord will also host the Fifth Annual Science Open House on March 28 in conjunction with the mathematics competition. The open house will feature demonstrations and activities in astronomy, chemistry, geology, biology and physics for K-12 teachers, students and their parents. Most open house activities will take place from 12 noon to 4 p.m. in the Science Building, where schedules will be posted.
