ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Office of Admissions is hosting an open house for prospective students and their families on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. The event will give these students a chance to learn about the admissions and financial aid processes, academic programs and residence life.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Alexander Fine Arts Center and the program will begin at 9 a.m. There will be a complimentary lunch at noon and free admission to the Concord University football game at 1 p.m. to registered attendees and their families.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for students, especially high school juniors and seniors, to be on campus and learn about the admissions process, financial aid, and campus life,” said Morgan Billups, Admissions Counselor. “The open house will give them a chance to ask questions and get a feel for what it is like to be on a college campus.

“Staff members will be on hand to assist with filling out applications and answering questions about the FAFSA, scholarships, and grants,” she said.
