CONCORD UNIVERSITY’S VETERANS COMMITTEE
SPONSORING ‘PLANT A FLAG, HONOR A VETERAN’
ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Veterans Committee is offering a special way for individuals to honor the veterans in their lives.
Through “Plant a Flag, Honor a Veteran”, small stick flags may be purchased and then placed in a designated area on the front lawn of Marsh Hall on Concord’s Athens campus. Those purchasing the flags may take their flags with them if they choose to honor veterans in other ways.
Cost of the flags is $1 per flag. Proceeds will go toward assisting the student veterans at Concord.
Flags may be purchased at Concord’s Student Center Welcome Center, the Veteran’s Lounge in Room 245 of the Rahall Technology Center, and in Teresa Frey’s office in Room 229 of Marsh Hall. They will be sold from Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 9.
For additional information please contact Teresa Frey at firstname.lastname@example.org or 304-384-5226.
Persons with disabilities should contact Nancy Ellison, 1-304-384-6086 or 1-800-344-6679 extension 6086
